Water slide rental season

Okay it's that time of year again and the water slides are going out again. We also have several new ones like the Double lanes. We brought in a 15 ft double lane slide that will be a hit at any event. And to top that we also brought back our tropical slide but in a 18ft. double lane slide. The most important thing when renting these is adult supervision. Most people do not realize but you are not suppose to go down a slide any other way but feet first. The other thing is all slides have height and weight restrictions. Also never slide down with 2 people at the same time, especially never an adult with a child.

God bless,

Happy new year

Well just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year. It has started fast and seems to be going good as far as the business goes. Just a lot of rain and cold weather for people renting to work around. We will have a lot of new inflatable rentals coming the next few weeks. We have reset up our warehouse for this year and it looks great. As we all know I am the biggest fan of indoor cleaning. The new set up makes that a lot easier. We also are about to start doing something that people have been wanting us to do for a long time. Check back in the next few weeks for the new news.

God bless,
Joe

Merry Christmas to all

I really hope everyone has a great holiday and enjoys the most important thing in the world. I just hope everyone is blessed enough to be able to spend time with there family. Do whatever it takes to make the holiday memorable for your loved ones. Sometimes just spending time with your elders is all they want. Let's face it, kids want presents. This year will be the first year my granddaughter understands what's going on. She is three and I am so excited to get to watch her open presents. I am so blessed at her age it can be a rock in the gift box, she will love it either way. The only thing I know I will be up early on Christmas.

God bless,
Joe

Inflatable moonwalks and combos operators

Okay this post is a rant about how other inflatable rental companies do it. Not all just some. I just do not understand. Some will just call and cancel bookings like it's nothing. Others will deliver things that are just nasty and disgusting. And the best ones to me are the ones that do nothing with in the law. No insurance such as workers comp or general liability. No fire marshal inspections. Some no business license. It just blows my mind how these people sleep at night. I get calls sometimes from other operators asking if they can rent my insurance for an event at a park. Are you kidding? So please if you call me and ask why I cannot do a 50.00 rental. That is the answer. This inflatable rental moonwalk business is expensive to operate properly.
God bless,

Why so many wet bounce houses

Well this has been the year of the soaken wet bounce house. This year it seems to rain on every ones party and it really does make me feel bad. I just wish there was a better way. I know it's really hard on the customers that put out all that money and then it rains. The hardest part is the thought of having 20 kids inside running around destroying the house. A lot of customers tell me there's no way I am canceling. I would rather risk it and give them a little play time. As far as we go when a bouncer gets wet it becomes an absolute nightmare. We have to blow up the bounce house and let it sit on it's side for a day to get all the water out. Then clean it and put it on the shelf. It can get really bad. But we do it for the kids.
God bless,
Joe

Hurricane Issac and the bounce house business

Well we lived through another hurricane here in Louisiana. I mean to live here in New Orleans you just have to live with it, it's better then snow. I really hope everyone is okay and can move on fairly fast. At my home we had a tree fall on the roof. Luckily minimum damage is all the roof took. The funny part is when it hit my wife said it was thunder. The other thing is 3 doors at our warehouse got blown in. Thanks to Dial1 overhead doors who fixed them the next day. Other then that we were delivering on the weekend for a few people. So if there is anything we can do please let us know.
God bless,
Joe
